THE ECONOMY OF NEW AFRICA: Africa is a rich continent with about 1.5 billion population and also second to Asia, Africa political and economic indicators are positive to attract foreign direct investment. Africa is also excluded from the
world credit crunch, Africa population is very huge; Africa has abundant natural resources such as Tourism, Oil and Gas, Gold, Diamond, Coal, Chrome, Uranium, Platinum, Salt, Timber, Bauxite, Manganese, Copper, Iron, cobalt, lead, zinc, nickel, limestone, etc. Africa‘s proven oil reserves were estimated at 75.4 billion barrels (7percent of the world total), and in 1998 the continent produced 7.8 million barrels per day (381 million tons per year) of over 40 types of crude oil.
West and Central Africa regions proven substantial oil margin. West Africa is also one of the potential regions for gold production in Africa.
